Construction:
The silo adopts three-layer vertical cylindrical structure:
1.Inner Tank Food grade SUS304 stainless steel (SUS316L optional). 2B or mirror polished inner surface without sanitary dead zones, compatible with CIP cleaning. Conical or dished bottom ensures complete milk drainage.
2.Insulation Layer High density PU foam with thickness 150mm, outstanding heat insulation performance, effectively reduce heat infiltration and cooling energy consumption.
3.Outer Cladding SUS304 stainless steel outer shell, anti-rust and anti-corrosion, suitable for outdoor installation.
Standard Accessories
External access ladder + top safety guardrail (as shown in picture) for maintenance
Top fittings: air breather, manhole, CIP spray ball, milk inlet, agitator mounting port
Side fittings: service manhole, level gauge port, temperature sensor port, sampling valve
Bottom: large milk outlet, drain valve

Working Principle
Raw milk is transferred into the silo for bulk storage. The PU insulation layer slows temperature rise. Combined with external chiller system, milk can be kept at storage temperature 0~4℃. The optional agitator homogenizes temperature and prevents cream separation. When production starts, milk is delivered from bottom outlet to pasteurizer, The silo supports automatic CIP circulating cleaning.
